Hello! My name is Karen Price, and I’m a little late to the party. My husband Darrell and I will celebrate our 50th Anniversary this Friday, August 14th. He is the love of my life, and I feel so blessed God brought us together some 56 years ago. I like making my own Greeting Cards, writing poetry, and I like to read. I love the Lord, and I love sharing Him with others. God Blessed us with two sons. Jason, our Marine, is no longer married, yet he seems to be happy, enjoying life as it is. He and Darrell work together in their Remodeling Business. He’s pretty much a homebody, but an awesome young man. Brandon and Christy live in Tulare, CA. They just celebrated their 25th Anniversary on August 5th. Brandon coaches Boys Varsity Water Polo and teaches High School English. He’s also an Associate Pastor at First Baptist Church there in Tulare. Christy teaches as a Librarian in one of the Middle Schools. They have our only three Grandchildren. Mackenzie is 20, and she is starting third year at California State University, Monterey Bay. She lives in Pacific Grove, CA. She gets to wake up to the most beautiful sunrises, and ends her day with the most awesome sunsets, there on the ocean. She works at the college, and has a little job at a Pizza Cafe. She works hard to help pay her way through school. She also teaches middle school teens at her church. She played Water Polo, give Swim Lessons in the Summer, a very active young lady. Kelsey is 17, and she will be starting her Senior year next week from home. She plays Water Polo, runs track, but her favorite sport is Soccer, and she’s good at it. She is also an artist. She has drawn some awesome artwork. She plans to attend college in Arizona next year, just not quite sure yet. Jacob is 14, and begins this year as a Freshman. He plays Basketball, Soccer, but Baseball is his favorite sport. He is going to try his luck at Water Polo, that is if they get to do sports at all. CA is still pretty much shut down because of this Covid Virus. All three of them are pretty good kiddos. They all love the Lord! They enjoy going Surfing, Camping, fishing, almost anything that has to do with the outdoors. They also enjoy being with their Family and Friends. We always wanted a girl, but God had a plan for us to have boys. However, He blessed us with a young lady who we call our adopted daughter. Dana Jones is an awesome young lady that we have grown to love as our very own, as well as her sweet Family. We are blessed that her Mom and Dad share her with us. I am very grateful that she’s invited me to share “Love You Strong” with all of you. I’ve enjoyed reading your stories and poetry, and I look forward for what lies ahead.

Momma Karen. One of the most important people in my life. You asked me to fix all this, for some reason I was delayed in tackling it. This morning I sat down, and you know what? It’s staying, just like it is. I want people to read your first post, because a lot of times, no one reads a bio. I want to leave that post as your bio, because they will see other things you write, and those who read bios will go to see who you are. I love that you captured yourself brilliantly. This is you. This is who I love immensely. I’m excited you are here, and excited that you will be brave and share what’s on your heart, whether it’s about Jesus, or family, or heartbreak, or joy, daily life or intuition and insights, anything on your heart. I love you and Darrell so strong. You know more than most how much this project means to me, because you know my heart. I hope that you also know how much it means to me that you took the leap to be here. Love you so much, so strong.
