If you are Texan, then you know the feeling you get when you leave our state for a while. You head back home and after you touch down on Texas soil or you cross that state line, it feels like such a relief to be back home (back in Texas). It makes me smile every time. Ahhh, Texas.
I live in the middle of Texas and I am a fiddle player, but this song also refers to just generally fiddling around living my life in the middle of Texas. I ended up in a band a few years back and I literally became the “fiddle in the middle” of my band!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
