On a lighter note, I thought I’d share my version of this Beatles song I “wrote” in honor of my hubby’s birthday this past week!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Do you remember singing this song many years ago?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yes, we’re still sending silly valentines,<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Birthday greetings, boxes of wine!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I don’t stay up til quarter til 3,<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cuz by 9 I’ll hear your snores!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yes I still need you, yes, I still feed you.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

And now your 64!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Every summer, we’ll travel round the world<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

– if it’s not closed down!!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

….yes, I’m older too!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

And for the rest of our lives, I will be with you!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now that you’re older, your hearing is gone,<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

but the music still plays on,<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sitting on the porch with our guitars outside,<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sunday morning go for a ride.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Out in the country, living our lives,<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

and I’ve never loved you more!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Of course I still need you, I think that I’ll keep you!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
