The fat girl club

The fat girl club

I’ve been chosen in the womb, to be a part of the club.

My cheeks were round, my arms had rolls,

I grew, so did my stomach.

I took note of the diets, I drank hot tea

and cold celery soup

and fat free shakes

and then a binge and purge.

I avoided the mall

sleepovers, pool parties

hoping one day

I’d shrink enough to have fun

Until I join the club.

Secrets were rushed under the basements

I fit, I breath, I take space

Joining the club didn’t shrink my body.

It expanded my cage
