And Now You’re 64!

On a lighter note, I thought I’d share my version of this Beatles song I “wrote” in honor of my hubby’s birthday this past week!

Do you remember singing this song many years ago?

Yes, we’re still sending silly valentines,

Birthday greetings, boxes of wine!

I don’t stay up til quarter til 3,

Cuz by 9 I’ll hear your snores!

Yes I still need you, yes, I still feed you.

And now your 64!

Every summer, we’ll travel round the world

– if it’s not closed down!!

….yes, I’m older too!

And for the rest of our lives, I will be with you!

Now that you’re older, your hearing is gone,

but the music still plays on,

Sitting on the porch with our guitars outside,

Sunday morning go for a ride.

Out in the country, living our lives,

and I’ve never loved you more!

Of course I still need you, I think that I’ll keep you!

Even though you’re 64!
